Jean has a long-standing interest in the politics of Africa. In 2012, she hosted a London conference on the future of Nigeria, and has intervened on numerous occasions in the political decisions of Rwanda, Uganda and Ghana. Earlier in 2014 she took part in the Greens\/EFA conference on ‘Afrophobia’ – and believes we should extend co-operation between the EU and African states.<\/p>\n
